Project Guidelines:
To use the colors from an image from the web to design a composition, with the deliverables being completely optional
Project Outcomes:
To be able to have an understanding on the impact of color on a composition and its interplay with the message and aesthetics of the design.
With an interest in industrial design, I decided to do a study on the effects of color on furniture by designing a 3D model of a plain seeming chair and changing its colors and textures to see how that can affect the way in which it is interpreted by a consumer. With accompanying “advertisement posters” for each version of the chair, I put them all in a booklet and laid out what became this final deliverable.
